Pastor says, “We need harvesters as well as barn for storing crops. Help us with your prayer to accomplish Church building.” Kyaing Tone is a border city in the eastern part of Shan State. The people living there are Chinese, Shan, Akha and Lahu. Most of them are framers, some traders and some merchants.

Apart from Full Gospel Mission, there are two other Churches in Kyaing Tone. Pastor RamBik and the team started Kyaing Tone Mission in June, 2010. Within the first five months, twelve people accepted Christ and were baptized. The people who got saved from 2011 to 2014 are as follows: in 2011 – 8 people, in 2013 – 7 people and in 2014 – 4 people respectively. It makes up 31 people in total. There are two mission fields in Kyaing Tone: 12 households in the mountain mission and 8 households in Kyaing Tone.

Yat Soke Mission

On that rock I will build my Church. The gates of hell shall not prevail. His name is U Than Kywe and also called U Gin Suan Mung in Chin. His parents are U Cin Do and Daw Cin Za Nial. From his childhood, he had been a nominal Christian. He was born in Nahnuai village, Kalay, Sagaing Division. He joined the military force in 1983. He met his wife and married her in 1996. He has a son and twin daughters. His wife is a medical staff, a nurse aid serving in the health department in Yat Saut.

In 1997, he had a life changing experience. He received a clear calling from God for the ministry and he started to pray for it. But, at that time he was still serving in the military. It was difficult even to go to the Church, let alone ministering. During in that situation, he prayed, read the bible and had fellowship with other believers. He prayed for the strength to throw himself into the ministry completely. One day God spoke to him while he was praying. Then, he started to pray to be able to do as Peter left the nets and followed Jesus that is to leave the military.
