“The ministry was started by Aung Nai Lin and Khin Thanda in July, 2011 so that the people living around Muse would come to know the love of God.” Muse is a border city situated in the northern part of Shan State. The people living there are traders, merchants and also jewelers. It is also the center of Chinese electronics import.
Most of the people are Kachin but there are some Shan people. The ministry was started by Aung Nai Lin and Khin Thanda in July, 2011 so that the people living around Muse would come to know the love of God. Aung Nai Lin started this ministry because he received Rhema from God. They started sharing the Gospel from a poorly built tent. In the beginning, they had no support or help.
So, they had to walk by faith and struggle through the difficult situations. God faithfully blessed the ministry and for now, it is still a fellowship Church with 9 members. There are around 20 to 50 people joining the worship service every week. They go and share the Gospel to the people occasionally.
The vision of Aung Nai Lin is to reach all the people with the Gospel and to build and equip good leaders. He has conducted 3 months Bible Training Class five times. He said, “We’re doing the 6th class after finishing the Church Building.” There have been about 40 students who finished their Bible Training Class; some were serving in their Churches while some continued to join other Bible schools. Aung Nai Lin and his wife Thanda Khine have 2 sons: the elder son is Daniel (12 yrs) and the younger son is David Aung (9 yrs). Daniel is in grade 8 and David Aung is in grade 5.
One of the believers, Daw Vung Zam Huai, support the Church and they now have owned a land for Church Building. The land is 80 ft x 100 ft and the building is 60 ft x 30 ft. The building in still in the process though it need some final touch both inside and outside of the building. After that, wiring, ceiling, painting and fencing will be done accordingly. The Church building is planned to be opened on November, 2014. Let us all remember and help them with prayer or financial support so that the Church building will be finished soon.
